You needto be original and hand write everyone to match the circumstance. Like on a gas pump, write “i HOPE i have enough CHANGE to get enough gas to get home today, Thanks Noblama”.

I can’t wait to go to the grocery store. Wow, did I really say that? I hate grocery shopping! I also hate that I got my drivers license in 1976 and the price of gas almost doubled to fifty-something cents. For the price of a gallon now, I could have gotten more than 6 gallons then. My first 3 bedroom house in Marrietta, Georgia cost less than a pick up truck does today. A lot less!

A very good idea, but why not assign the blame to the real culprits ? Ie, the Federal Reserve and its free money to the banks policy ? If we’re ever going to wake up the mass of Americans, giving out misleading info on who/what is to blame for soaring commodity prices is not the road to go. After all, Bush nominated Bernanke first, Obama kept him on. Both parties are guilty. You don’t want to elect a conservative who doesn’t understand the simple concept of free money to banks=higher prices to consumers.

People who vote in America do not necessarily understand the dynamics of economics – mainly because our government through the department of education has made sure our students are dumbed down over the decades so they will be nothing more than worker bees to be controlled by the government elites and will not rock the dictator’s boat. Getting BO out of office before he takes us all down is our main goal right now, even if it may not be the main message and this could be an effective way to do it because the mafia in Chicago will make sure he gets elected again by hook or by crook and we all know what comes out of Chicago. Rahm and Axelrod are already setting up shop there. . .the crooks. We know the Republicans and Democrats are one in the same.

-Don’t know your age, but you remind me of someone else w/ the same thoughts as you
-He IS the real culprit, why?
-‘o’ is sponsored by George Sorros, the 37th richest man in the world (a communist-who wants the USA monetary system to collapse). This has been in the works since Wilson was president. These people want COMPLETE control over the people of the USA.
-I watched George Soros say, when asked why all these people lost their homes and some, their families and now their jobs,…..why does he do it? The word FUN was why he did what he did to other countries(Greece,Russia,France,Spain) He liked causing all this trouble for others, because, “It is fun”!
-do you believe ‘o’ care has anything to do with being concerned about the health of the citizens of this republic? NO! It has to do with power and control.
-it is the same about everything else too. Why do you think….the czars in such abundance? Why do you think about these stanch socialists(liberals they have been calling themselves) who have been appointed without the OK from Congress
-‘o’ isn’t just being blamed for the price of food, but for all the things he has been a part of to demoralize this Republic and agreeing to support our enemies (a republican would have been near dead by now for the same thing) and to continue to support others with money we do not have
-do you think the high gas prices are about ‘a greener world’? no, it is about having Americans use as much as their money for basics, so when they can’t even afford food, they can “rely” on the government.
-please try and think a lillte about this with an open mind. I know that is very hard to do. It is difficult for me to understand why people, like myself, did not see this coming sooner
-if you choose not to agree with me, that’s OK………………………..just read the actual ORIGINAL Constitution and see if our ‘government’ is following it——whether you think it is right or not.
-I truly wish you peace and health …………………..jo

If you prefer, you can order preprinted custom sticky notes from Office Depot, with your own slogan on them. Order them online via OfficeDepot.com and design them yourself, or go to the Copy-Print-Ship counter in the store and ask one of the associates in that department to help you set it up on their computer. You can order a whole bunch of them and then resell or give them to your friends and fellow activists.
If you prefer to go the Sharpie route, you can now buy Sharpie markers that are retractible. They cost a little more, but they are easier to carry around without the worry of misplacing the cap and getting ink where it isn’t wanted.

Not an Obama fan… but this is tacky… it is also litter when it blows off the gas pump. Or how about the poor minimum wage schmuck who has to clean them up? We are Americans. We have more class.

Yea, We are real worried about that minimum wage earner while both he and the rest of us are looking at bankruptcy. What are you worried about the poor tree that died to make the notes or the biodegradable paper. April 26, 2011
Just to clarify, I used the word “schmuck” because I myself have worked retail, and have done the thankless jobs that come along with that. You are nicer than me not to mind picking up extra messes… the empty slurpie cups, wrappers and such that I picked up at walmart must have done me in.
KatieSilverSpring
April 26, 2011
I too have done this in an earlier life (read: younger) but my point was, to see these sorts of “trash” would be encouraging and I would not mind picking this up. An empty “slurpie cup” is not THIS kind of extra work. I am so much more concerned about the trash that is coming our way if the Dumb-Bastard-in-Chief continues his privileges.

Not to mention that it lacks… you know, factual backing. Seeing as how commodities price fluctuations are, by and large, the product of speculation (read: Wall Street,) the President has very little influence over those prices—except via regulation.
When the president attempted to restore sensible position limits in commodities trading, he was called a socialist. I guess he just can’t win.

The markets and evil speculators are paying attention to the choices Mr. O is making in regards to energy policies and are then reacting accordingly. If he was opening up our resources here, drilling more (hence less dependence on foreign countries that hate us), encouraging the new gas technologies, and enacting pro-America energy policies (i.e. I don’t know, maybe building the pipeline; adding not only to our ability to get energy from friendly resources, but also to jobs and our economy in general) then these evil speculators the left loves to blame would be “speculating” the prices down and not up. He knows exactly what he is doing, and he is blaming anyone and everyone else for the problems that HIS administration’s policies are creating. It starts at the top, everyone else is just reacting to the policies he is putting in place for our country. The speculators don’t control the policy, they just react to it.

haha… I was a wal-mart employee. Saved money for college working there. You wouldn’t believe the hours I’ve spent picking up after people at that place. So now I’m considerate. That’s all. I teach my kids to be kind, be responsible and pick up after themselves. And believe me, as soon as Obama supporters spot these, they are going to throw them on the floor or ground or scribble a nasty message on them. I just think we are smart, clever folks who can do better. If thinking Americans are smart and classy makes me upiddy… I guess. All I know is that I’m small town middle class who chose not to travel on Easter to see family because of high gas prices… if my simple life is considered uppity, heck where’s my post it pad?! 😉

That a girl now get that pad and go post one. Just get biodegradable. Oh its paper it will flitter away into oblivion within a couple of weeks. I hope I did not get your big girl panties in a wad, really. Look I picked up my share of SEIU signs in Atlanta after the big Meeting they had here in Atlanta to make up for all of us. But keep in mind. the TARGET AUDIENCE is watching Idol or Worlds Dumbest videos, not http://DrudgeReport.com or the http://wallstreetjournal.com You tag a post-it note in the Beer Isle or on a drive through window menu and you will be getting in someones face that needs to see the truth and hopefully PROVOKING THOUGHT. Now that’s CLASS. Sorry if you disagree but We ain’t buying ad time on American Idol.

I’m not here to win hearts and minds, Melissa…we are SO far beyond that! I’m here to tell the truth. Just standing up and speaking up will make me feel a bit better every time I have to get gas or buy food. Teach your kids to have a spine and take a stand for truth. Otherwise you’ll have nice kids who can’t share their values or fight for their country. Yeah, that’s what we want..another generation of kids who know NOTHING about the perils this country is facing. Kids with manners is WAY more important.

since if you don’t spread the word, who will?
“POLL REVEALS: Americans Are Still In Deep Denial About The Deficit” http://read.bi/h6QDGR If they realized how bad it is politicians would need to act. Non politics-junkies tune out numbers in the $trillions so we need to rephrase the issue:
The federal government will need >$1 million per household to pay its IOUs!
> $116 trillion =”official” debt plus money short for future social security, medicare, etc
Even its “official debt” of $14.2 trillion is $123,754 per household!
Details at http://StopNationalDebt.com with links to contact congress & complain.
If they don’t realize how bad things are they won’t realize changes is needed.

What makes you think that putting notes in places you don’t own or have permission to do so is a good idea? There is a reason that a car dealer wouldn’t advertise on a gas pump or a dentist wouldn’t put a note to advertise by the toothbrushes. If they did that they know they wouldn’t get taken seriously, Plus the fact that posting leaflets or unauthorized advertising is illegal. It also falls under graffiti and vandalism laws depending on how your local law is worded. Companies pay to have advertising on grocery shelves that merchandisers put there, and the fact that you are not paying to put your message in that space, it wouldn’t be a far stretch to call that stealing. This campaign is nothing more than high school vandalism and then you take a picture and laugh about it. Plus the fact that a recent poll showed that 90% of americans blame Wall Street and Oil companies for high gas prices and not Obama just makes you look foolish.

Another way of doing this is to order a bunch of those cheap mailing-address labels, since you can have them print anything on them, and they stick really well … hard to get off, in fact.
I bought 500 of the gold-foil ones for 3.95 and stuck them everywhere to advertise my small business — newspaper boxes, trashcans at 7-Eleven, gas pumps, pay phones, etc. It cost me almost nothing, and in a couple of weeks of sticking them up everywhere I usually went, my business started to pick up.
I call it guerilla advertising, and since the yellow pages and newspapers are such disgusting ripoffs, I just sidestepped the whole usual process. It worked — twenty years later I have 300 pieces of rental machinery on the street, compared to ten when I started sticking up the little labels.
I think this would work well for this sort of “advertising,” too.
